We are examining the positive and negative effects of mining - specifically the oil sands. We have looked at two videos. The first was a documentary called Tipping Point (trailer below) the second was a short film produced by Suncor. From both videos we were able to discuss the pros and cons of the oil sands.
By examining the two videos we can also examine bias and examine how the videos are made to reflect the creators' opinions.
